Abstract

The photograph’s place in the courtroom has long standing since its first use in the mid 19th century. The history begins with skepticism, but by the mid 20th century its use has become universally trusted. The photograph becomes the “highest form of evidence” However, due to the rise of AI editing technology, how trusted can the photograph be today?
